Sustainable Crop Production Development in Perth County

Perth Soil and Crop Association owns a 50-acre research farm where specialists from OMAFRA (Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Affairs) develop sustainable crop production techniques, pest management techniques, and utilization of bio solids (city wastes) techniques where applicable to continue to advance farming.

In addition, research is also being done in soil structure studies, test seed varieties fertility and pesticide concepts developed by industry.
